Large banner shaped like Gothic arch. Shows image of a circle with a cross in it (Eucharist?) emanating rays of light and ribbons over a landscape of hills and trees. |
Provenance |
This banner was designed and made by Gail Mitchel (had moved to Merritt at the time this record was made, in 2022). Maureen Haddock paid for it and the accompanying banner in memory of her husband Bill Haddock who died in 1996. Rev. Martin Reid read a brief history of the banners when they were installed and dedicated in 1998. The banners were placed in storage when the church sold in 2013. |
