Provenance |
This pipe was carved by Anthony Taulbut after a dispute at a Village of Mission council meeting in 1929. He presented the council with this peace pipe for the sake of peace among them. Smoking the pipe became a tradition at every council meeting until it was retired (in 1962?). |
