Pram Main Body - Rounded metal kidney bean-shape body, painted cream with thin brown trim. Two sides have metal pins to attach wheels. Logo branding on front; 'Silver Cross' with 'Made In England' sticker underneath. Beneath sticker is a metal tab. Back has curved metal handle with coated white grip, another metal tab underneath. Interior has cream leather-like upholstery. Floor is painted cream pressboard. Removable panel reveals storage comparment in floor. 108cm l x 50cm w x 38cm d |
Provenance |
This baby pram belonged to Dorothy Fell, the donor's mother. The pram dates back to mid 1950s. As a child, Brian's mother used to take him around town in this pram, even making trips across the train bridge in it. |
