Provenance |
This early twentieth century wedding gown was worn by two generations of women; first, in 1928 by the donor's mother, and later, in 1988 by the donor's daughter, Christine Armstrong. The dress features collar embellishments and a faux belt in silver and white beading. When the dress was worn a second time, it was altered and updated to suit 1980s styles. |
